Synopsis
Studio canal proudly presents a completely remastered version of the cult TV series from the 60's: the avengers. In these 25 episodes you will find the unforgettable john steed (Patrick Macnee) and his charming female partner Emma peel (Diana Rigg) in some great adventures spiked with action and humour. This 5th season brings the colours into the show. Steed is still the audacious man-about-town (outwardly a fop, in reality an iron glove). As colourfully quirky as ever, he continues to defeat villains with his furled umbrella and steel-lined bowler hat. Emma peel in her well fitted, skin-tight suit, attacks her opponents with a variety of spectacular techniques. She is using kung-fu to vanquish the baddies with a twist of her dainty wrist. The avengers pack a punch of stories filled with thrills and tongue-in-cheek humour.
