| A more realistic solution for the medium sized rental store is our Model 1600. It is a water-cooled machine, and can repair the deepest of scratches. If the volume of discs requiring repair is fairly large, consider adding a second or third Model 1600 as they can be used as an 'assembly line' where each machine repairs a specific Stage. For the highest repair volumes, we recommend the fully automated Advantage. This is our most advanced machine, and is in fact the most advanced disc repair machine available, period! With robotic disc transfer, touch screen control and dual computers, this machine is as easy as it gets. Simply place a stack of discs requiring repair in one side, specify the type and level of repair desired on the touch screen control, press start and pick up your repaired discs from the other side. Disc Care & Repair
Cleaning Products
For light cleaning of your discs, we offer our Anti-Static Spray Cleaner. This special formula safely cleans, polishes and protects all types of optical surfaces. It will remove dust, dirt, fingerprints, residue and other contaminates from DVD's, CD's, CD-ROM's and other optical discs easily. The anti-static quality prevents the build-up of dust in the future.
We suggest using our Anti-Static Spray Cleaner with our lint-free Micro-Fiber Optical Cloths for the fastest and best cleaning results. These cloths are incredibly soft and designed to remove the microscopic grime that can accumulate on the disc over time. They are made of a special anti-static material to remove dust-attracting static from the surface to be cleaned, preventing dust build-up. The Micro-Fiber Optical Cloth works on either wet or dry surfaces, and is even machine washable for repeated use!
Scratch Protection Products
Azuradisc also offers products to protect your valuable optical discs from future damage! To protect the bottom (read-side) of discs, we invented Jewel Case Liners. These nifty items prevent the disc from becoming scratched when it moves or rotates inside the jewel case itself. In fact, this is where most scratches occur! Our Jewel Case Liners are super soft on one side, and have an adhesive backing on the other to adhere to the inside of any jewel case. These inexpensive liners will add a soft cushion under each disc and protect them from scratches and need for repair.
To protect the top side of discs, we have Scratch Guards. Protecting the top side is most important, because if the thin screen-print label layer is scratched and damages the reflective foil layer beneath, the disc can no longer be repaired. Scratch Guards are a clear adhesive laminate that acts as a protective cover on top of the label side of the disc, preventing top side damage. They can even be personalized to identify you as the owner for inventory control and theft protection!
