Synopsis
Contains:
1. Series 1 - Who wants a superhero with an ASBO? In Misfits, a gang of five teenage outsiders party-girl Alisha, hard-as-nails Kelly, one-time sporting hero Curtis, painfully shy nerd Simon and smart-aleck Nathan get caught in a flash storm while on Community Service and suddenly find themselves saddled with strange superpowers. Unlike their more conventional counterparts, they dont swap their mobile phones and ankle tags for capes and tights. Instead, they discover just how tough life can be when youre all that stands between good and evil. Well, that and your curfew order.
2. Series 2 - The second series kicks off where the first ended, with Alisha, Simon, Nathan, Kelly and Curtis still on community service and still trying to adapt to their new lives. But what's new is the mysterious, masked figure watching over them from afar... someone who looks remarkably like a real-life superhero, and who seems to know everything about them. Is he protecting them? Or is he a threat? As the gang tries to piece together the clues to discover the true identity of their new stalker, it soon becomes apparent that the masked man harbours a secret that could change the their world forever... Fuelled with irreverent humour, the second series of Misfits has an array of new characters crashing into the Misfits' world, and is even bigger, bolder and brasher than the last.
3. Series 3 - The multi-award winning Misfits returns, with new powers and a new kid on the block but the gang is still spreading their special brand of orange boilersuited mayhem. Series 3 is a super-sized, super-powered Misfits, with brilliantly surprising, original storylines and a body count to make CSI proud. Things certainly havent got any quieter for the gang. When we left the Infamous Five, our Misfits were locked in a tense trade-off of powers with super-dealer Seth. But have any of them ended up with a power approaching something at least halfway useful? Following Nathans departure, theres also a new recruit, Rudy, who is learning fast that probation Misfits-style involves not much community service, lots of running around, fighting baddies and disposing of bodies. With zombies, time-travel and some complicated relationships developing, theres definitely nothing normal about our five favourite superheroes Special Features include two short films Erazer and Vegas Baby.
