Synopsis
Crabby and cranky, ill tempered and irritable - all these things and more combined to make the character of Victor Meldrew, played by Richard Wilson, one of the best loved in the history of British comedy. One Foot in the Grave originally premiered with the story of an already peevish security guard being forcibly retired and replaced with a box. Since then, Victor has been bitterly complaining his way into the hearts of the world.
