Synopsis
One of the most loved television series of all time is brought back to life with a stellar cast and a story full of scandal, romance and intrigue set against a sweeping historical backdrop. Rose soon finds she has her work cut out as she recruits a new 'downstairs' family to! help run the elegance and finery of the 'upstairs' world. It soon becomes apparent there lies a labyrinth of secrets, lies and scandal in both worlds. Series Two is set in the year preceding World War Two, and 165 Eaton Place is now a well-established and thriving household in the heart of London. But with both upstairs and downstairs harbouring life-changing secrets and the menace of war creeping ever closer, the smooth running of Eaton Place threatens to come crashing to a shattering halt. And as romance, heartbreak and intrigue engulf the household, its inhabitants discover that the real threat is much closer to home As seen on ABC1 and UKTV.
